How To
Since 2008, Partners for Prevention has supported practitioners, policy-makers, activists and researchers across Asia and the Pacific on how to prioritize and plan efforts to prevent gender-based violence in their settings. The following resources are based on these experiences, and provide guidance, reflection and hands-on learning materials on gender-based violence prevention for Asia and the Pacific.
The Toolkit for Replicating the UN Multi-country Study on Men and Violence is the first finalized product in this resource series. It is geared toward researchers and activists who want to conduct rigorous research with men on their perpetration of gender-based violence, in order to better understand and prevent violence.
At this time, the resources here also include learning materials on programming and communication strategies to prevent gender-based violence. These materials will help to foster reflection and planning around evidence- and theory-based approaches to prevention work. These materials will continue to be tested, refined, and updated by P4P and partner practitioners across the region, and globally.
