Capacity Development

Similar to the capacity development activities of Phase 1, in Phase 2 P4P is focused on enhancing the institutional capacity at the local and regional levels for sustainable programme and policy development to transform harmful masculinities and eliminate violence against women. P4P will work with national partners involved with the pilot interventions such as, government agencies, civil society organizations and NGOs, and regional academic institutions and universities to capacity build and strengthen partnerships.

To do this a Regional Learning Network will be created. Through the network local and regional partners will be able to strengthen their knowledge of prevention of violence against women, prevention programming, monitoring and evaluation and policy advocacy. Participants will share real issues and experiences from the interventions being implemented at the local level so that participants learn from practical, real world and contextualized programmes.  Overall the collective learning generated from the pilot interventions will be validated and shared that the regional level through this network.
